THE Zimbabwe version of the reality show, Our Perfect Wedding, is set to be broadcast on DStv’s Zambezi Magic channel, as part of the ongoing drive to increase the level of Zimbabwean content on the platform which promotes local talent and local stories in Southern Africa.
MultiChoice Zimbabwe in a press release said after calling for bids for a local production team and a local presenter, the search is now on for the Zimbabwe couples whose weddings will feature in their new reality television show, Our Perfect Wedding Zimbabwe. MultiChoice Zimbabwe publicity and public relations manager Liz Dziva said the application deadline for engaged couples interested to feature on the show is March 31.
“This show will be great fun and we hope everyone planning a wedding in the next few months will apply. All they have to do to be considered is to register their application online at www.zambezimagic.com,” she said.
Dziva said the South African and Zambian versions of the reality show have so far been warmly received by DStv audiences across Africa and it is hoped the Zimbabwean version will be equally successful. “Our Perfect Wedding Zimbabwe is to be broadcast on DStv’s Zambezi Magic channel, as part of the ongoing drive to increase the level of Zimbabwean content on this platform for local talent and local stories. Zambezi Magic was created to do just this and this is an excellent platform for Zimbabweans to showcase their stories about their journeys to the altar.”
In the reality show, each week, one engaged couple takes on their journey to the altar. They check every item on their wish list so that they can declare at the end of it that they had their perfect wedding.
