ALL preparations are on course for the Beach Party series at the upmarket nightclub, Flavourtown, at Macs Shopping Centre in the low-density suburb of Palmerstone in Mutare.

The series starts tonight (Friday) with the ‘wild and out’ Beach Party then continues tomorrow with the Caribbean Edition Beach Party featuring Exotic Queens from Harare that will headline the entertainment.

The proprietor of the club Isaac Chakonda said the beach parties will run throughout the summer season in phases and this will be the first series. “It’s summer time and we want to create entertainment options for our diverse revellers. We have gone all out to really bring out the beach theme,” said Chakonda.

By yesterday the sand had already been spread out inside the club with palm tress being decorated to really make it look and feel like one is at a beach.  Chakonda stepped up and built a makeshift indoor pool in one of the VIP lounges.

“The pool will be working and those in the VIP will enjoy swimming. People can come dressed in their beach wear. We have also put a volleyball net for those that love the sport, so its going to be great and urge revellers to come in numbers. It will just be $2 standard entrance fee and $5 for the VIP section,” said Chakonda.

He added that there will also be a shisha bar for those that love smocking the pipe and promotional prizes for the best dressed in beach wear.
