RENOWNED preacher and founder of Heartfelt International Ministries (HIM) Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe will be in Mutare today (Saturday) for the interdenominational ‘Revive Us Zimbabwe’ crusade where they are mobilizing Zimbabweans for 90 days of prayer and fasting for the country.

The Mutare crusade is being held at the HIM church in the high density suburb of Chikanga, located between the Beta flats and Acid Shops. The crusade will be from 10am to 1pm.

Apostle Vutabwashe in October brought to Zimbabwe Benny Hinn, a prominent Israeli-American televangelist and faith healer known for his large-scale “Miracle Crusades,” televised sermons on his channel ‘This Is Your Day.’ Hinn held a major healing crusade from October 10-12 and was received by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in support of the concept of religious tourism which has over the years brought many internationally acclaimed preachers and gospel musicians in the country.

HIM Mutare pastor Simon Musabayana said this will be a powerful spiritual revival open to everyone and all churches. He said the crusade will be done countrywide.

“Apostle Vutabwashe invites you to join him, together with other servants of God in Mutare and the surrounding areas, for a powerful 90 Days of Prayer and Fasting Mutare mobilisation, a season of intercession and seeking God’s face for our beloved nation, Zimbabwe. This interdenominational gathering will bring together the body of Christ to pray for revival, healing and transformation in our country. We extend this invitation to all pastors, servants of God and members of the body of Christ who desire to see a spiritual awakening in Zimbabwe. Let us break the denominational barriers and unite as the body of Christ for this noble cause,” read the invite for the crusade.

Pastor Musabayana said Apostle Vutabwashe is known for his dynamic crusades like the “Catch The Fire Revival Crusade,” that impacted thousands of people through his message of healing and deliverance.

“He is recognized for his boldness, leadership and focus on Christian identity, leading a growing ministry with a strong online presence. Even when he was still a pastor for the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) in Zimbabwe church with his friend and renowned preacher, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, he would often if not always be invited as the most dynamic guest speaker. He is an impeccably bold and dynamic preacher who is impacting the nation of Zimbabwe with the gospel, “ said Pastor Musabayana.

Apostole Vutabwashe in the past also successfully held the “Marketplace Breakthrough Summit” that featured renowned American preachers Mike Murdock and Creflo Dollar. Musabayana said the Apostle is an addict of the word, frequently holding series of bible study sessions in his ministry and has authored numerous spiritual literature to equip the Christian body with knowledge of God’s word.
