Zimdancehall sensation Enzo Ishall of the 'Kanjiva' fame to perform in Mutare at Barcode Nightclub tomorrow (Saturday).

POPULAR Zimdancehall chanter Enzo Ishall of the ‘Kanjiva’ fame who rose to fame last year and dominated the airwaves will prove his mettle tomorrow (Saturday) at Barcode Nightclub in Mutare.

Mutare based rising star Caff whose real name is Lionel Matanda of the ‘Perfect to me’ will curtain raise for the show.
This will be his first solo show in Mutare. One of Enzo Ishall’s handlers, DJ Fantan, who will also perform on the decks at the show confirmed the show but said they almost had to cancel the show because Enzo has his mother’s tombstone unveiling programme tomorrow during the day.
“We did not want to disappoint our Mutare fans last minute and cancel the show. We will travel late in the afternoon after Enzo finishes his mother’s tombstone unveiling programme. So Mutare should be ready for an unforgettable show,” said DJ Fantan.
The 24-year-old, real name Kudzanai Stephen Mamhare who is currently one of the most sought after Zimdancehall musician of the moment continues to headline the local entertainment charts. His music profile continues to grow as he went on his maiden tour in the United Kingdom in Leicester in June this year. He rose to fame with hit tracks, Kanjiva which scooped Song of the Year award at this years National Arts Merit Awards (NAMAs) and his tracks like ‘Magate’, ‘Bhiza’ and ‘Vanodherera’ have been dominating the airwaves since then.
Kanjiva was the song that made him popular and gave him the breakthrough he needed under the mentorship of DJ Fantan and Levelz of ChillSpot Records. Enzo is now being equaled to multi-award winning dancehall prodigy Winky D, but some critics think it is still too early as he has to bag more chart busters to prove his mettle.

He will also prove to Mutare whether he has the stage presence and energy of the BigMan Winky D to be put in the same class with the perennial hit-maker. The show organisers said all is set for the show and Enzo is expected to perform at 11pm in the evening.
“We will open at 8pm as usual and Enzo will start performing around 11pm. Please come and support us Mutare revelers and meet the Zimdancehall man of the moment. It will also be our resident DJ Qu3 belated birthday party. We will have general tickets, VIP and VVIP tickets,” said the spokesperson Munei Mwayera.
