MUTARE based construction firm, Six Nine Construction (SNC), will tomorrow (Friday) hold the 2nd edition of the 2024 Business Conference.
Aimed at creating networks and linkages for the Manicaland business community in the wake of opportunities anticipated to be unlocked under the devolution matrix now being implemented in Zimbabwe, this year’s edition is running under the theme, “Global Perspectives, Local Impact.”
The Business Conference will be held at Holiday Inn Mutare from 10:30am to 4pm with the Minister of State for Manicaland Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Advocate Misheck Mugadza as the guest of honour.
SNC managing director and civil engineer Cosmas Mudekwa said the business conference is their proactive way of uniting the local business community to be proactive on learning about devolution and how they can expand their businesses through taking advantage of a decentralized system of governance in a global village business operating envronment.
“By undertaking this noble initiative, Six Nine Construction is aware that businesses operate in a complex environment that is highly competitive in our global village open trade system, coupled with strict regulatory frameworks, this makes stakeholder engagement a critical aspect for sustainable business practices. The make-up of this business symposium is critical in ensuring that local businesses share the same dreams, standards and aspirations that can help grow the local economy, whilst contributing to national development,” said Mudekwa.
He said the platform will also speak on how to turn local businesses into ‘big’ brands and have invited reputable marketing and brand strategist experts as presenters. Among them is brand strategist and business development consultant Takemore Mazuruse, marketing and sales expert Paul River Williams and marketing expert Nomalanga Ndlovu.
Advance tickets are selling for US$40 and US$50 dollars on the day. Tickets are available at Dub Dub 52 Second Street, Mutare and at Diamond Pharmacy Mutare.
