HOLIDAY Inn Mutare is expected to be on fire tonight (Friday) with entertainment from the amusing mbira ensemble Ntswai Ntswai and the locally based, rising afro-fusion sensational duo Real Eeez.

It’s now the third week running the series of beer and whiskey promotions in the Foresters Arms Bar, an idea that the hotel came up with to liven up activities in its upmarket bar. The invigorating locally based mbira ensemble Ntswai Ntswai led by Lino Piloto has been the resident act since the launch on 15 March, but tonight Real Eeez will ignite the place with their usual energetic performance. The Real Eeez duo of brothers Emmanuel and Enock Ngarakana that rose to fame last year with their ‘Eya’ collaboration with urban grooves star Roki, are one act that is unforgettable. Last year in December at the Thomas Mapfumo Mutare show at Motoring Club, they left many clamouring for more with their creative dance choreographies and lively performance.

Holiday Inn Mutare food and beverages manager Phylis Sambo said their promotions were meant to give locals options for quality entertainment.  “As usual we will be having our Castle Larger Happy Hour promotion between 7 pm and 8 selling the beer at $3 bond notes and our Whisky Weekends from Friday to Sunday. We are in the business of happy and want to transform our bar into a social and entertainment hub, so come and unwind at our bar,” said Sambo.

Operating under the Inter-Continental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the leading global hotel companies, Holiday Inn Mutare was re-launched on 1 July 2017 from Amber Hotel. This increased the number of Holiday Inns managed by African Sun (Pvt) Ltd in Zimbabwe to three — Holiday Inn Bulawayo, Holiday Inn Harare and Holiday Inn Mutare.
